3 pulled from icy water after overnight accident in Montgomery County

BOYDS, Md. - Three people were rescued overnight after their vehicle crashed into a creek in Montgomery County.

The accident happened around 11 p.m. Monday in Ten Mile Creek near West Old Baltimore Road and Shiloh Church Road.

Rescue crews say the vehicle was crossing the road over the water when the crash happened. The vehicle entered the water and became disabled. Swift Water Rescue teams pulled the three occupants from the water. All were evaluated and are expected to recover.
