3 injured in multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Maryland

BELTSVILLE, Md. - Three people have been taken to the hospital after a crash involving at least four vehicles on Interstate 95 in Prince George's County, police say.

The crash happened Thursday during the evening rush hour on the northbound lanes of I-95 at the Intercounty Connector (ICC) in the Beltsville-Laurel area.

Prince George's County police say one of the victims suffered critical injuries.

The crash closed all of the main lines of traffic on I-95, but the scene was cleared at around 6 p.m.

Maryland State Police are investigating the crash.
