OCEAN CITY, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Authorities are looking for a person they say stabbed two teens on the Boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland over the weekend.
The stabbings happened just before 12:30 a.m. Sunday, June 9 on the Boardwalk at Caroline Street during a fight involving several people, police say.
On Monday, police apprehended Harold Rafael Nunez-Dominguez, 19, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in connection to the stabbings. He has been charged with two counts of assault in the first and second degree, as well as two counts of reckless endangerment.
Police say a warrant was issued for his arrest this afternoon and he is currently in police custody in Pennsylvania awaiting extradition to Maryland.
Officials say one of the victims, a 15-year-old boy, was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center. The second victim, a 17-year-old boy, was flown to Shock Trauma. Both are said to have sustained serious injuries but are in stable condition.
The stabbing on Ocean City's Boardwalk came several days after a stabbing on the Boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Authorities arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with that incident.
