2 stabbed, 1 in custody after suspected assault in Rockville

ROCKVILLE, Md. - Rockville City Police are working to figure out what sparked a suspected assault that left a number of people injured. The incident was reported around 10 p.m. Thursday night in a home in the 400 block of North Horners Lane.

When officers arrived they found two victims stabbed and a third injured from possibly trying to break up a fight.

Police say the suspect ran into a house leading officers to believe he had a gun.

The suspect was taken into custody a short time later. The two victims were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

No charges have been released at this time.
