WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - We'll see sun and clouds today with temperatures in the mid 70s - making it a perfect day to check out the cherry blossoms.

If the southern suburbs see enough sunshine - temperatures may pop to 80 degrees.

There will be a few showers overnight throughout the DMV.

Showers will last through Sunday morning, and we will see the return of much coolers temperatures.

After temperatures in the 50s and 60s on Sunday, the cooling trend will continue on Monday, as temperatures drop into the mid 50s.
