WASHINGTON - The storm system that brought the steady rain overnight is in the process of pulling away Friday but morning showers and drizzle continue. FOX 5’s Sue Palka says there could be some scattered thunderstorms as a cool front swings through around midday.
It’s not as wet as Thursday but showers linger into the afternoon. Winds eventually switch to the northwest at a breezy 10-15 mph which ushers in drier air later in the day.
Temperatures should make it into the low to mid 60s in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy but dry through the evening and overnight hours.
