Thursday weather: One more day of dangerously hot temps

The DMV is set for a cool-down this weekend, but this Thursday is set to bring one more round of blazing hot temps. Temperatures are set to peak in the mid-to-high 90s, with a chance of storms later in the afternoon.

WASHINGTON - Another heat advisory is in effect today with a heat index topping 105°. Stay hydrated and limit time outdoors.

Scattered pop-up storms are possible throughout the afternoon — a few could turn severe.

When will the heat wave end? Temperatures are expected to break Friday.
