The weather was perfect for Saturday's Light The Night Walk in D.C. The walk helps raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society which does so much to support blood cancer patients and their families.

His first visit was to 13-year-old Lance Bigelow. Lance was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myleoid Leukemia) when he was just 2-years-old. He fought a tough battle against the disease and in November, he will have been cancer-free for 11 years.

12-year-old Jack Creedon was diagnosed with very high risk Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) last year. His cancer is very resistant to treatment, and after he was unable to secure a bone marrow transplant, his family pressed forward with a stem cell/cord blood transplant. That procedure was scheduled for this month but another setback - a bacterial infection ? delayed them again.
