Redskins host Packers in playoffs; tickets sell out

Tickets for the Washington Redskins first-round playoff game sold out in 13 minutes Monday, as the team gears up for its first taste of the post-season since 2012.

The NFC East champion Redskins will play the Green Bay Packers this Sunday at FedEx field. The game is set for 4:40 p.m. and can be seen on FOX.

The Packers will enter the game against the Redskins having completed the 2015 regular season with a 10-6 record and finishing second in the NFC North Division. The Redskins finished their 9-7 season with a 34-23 victory over the Cowboys.

The Redskins and Packers have met 34 times in their series history, with Green Bay holding a 19-14-1 advantage.

The two teams have met twice in the postseason, with each franchise claiming a win.

General admission tickets sold out quickly after going on sale at 10 a.m. Monday. The team said a limited number of premium club seats were still available by calling the Redskins Ticket Office at (301) 276-6050.
