Police make arrest in murder of Mercer basketball player

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in the murder of a Mercer University basketball player.

Deputies found Jibri Bryan, 23, shot to death inside a car in downtown Macon Tuesday night. The car was at a fast food store at the corner of Forsyth Street and College Street.

Responding deputies learned some type of confrontation took place before the shooting.

Wednesday, investigators announced the arrest of Jarvis Clinton Miller. He's been charged with felony murder in Bryan's death. Detectives located Miller on Orange Street near the scene after the shooting.
