Engagements highlight offseason for Caps' Alex Ovechkin, Brooks Laich

WASHINGTON - Another hockey season is about to begin for the Washington Capitals and expectations are very high for this year's team that finished a win away from the conference finals last season.

But for Alex Ovechkin and Brooks Laich, the offseason allowed them to rest their bodies while preparing help the Caps prepare for a Stanley Cup run. The summer also ushered in a major milestone as they both got engaged off the ice.
