Baltimore restaurant offers free crab cakes for life to Orioles' Manny Machado after melee
BALTIMORE - After being hit by a pitch that cleared the benches for both teams and sparked a fight between Baltimore Orioles' infielder Manny Machado and Kansas City Royals pitcher Yordano Ventura, a Baltimore seafood restaurant is making sure to support their local star after the incident.
Jimmy's Seafood, which is located in East Baltimore, is offering free crab cakes and steamed crabs for life to Machado.
This is not the first time the restaurant has offered a lifetime of meals to a Baltimore player. During contract negotiations between the Orioles and Chris Davis during the offseason, Jimmy's Seafood also offered free crab cakes for life to Davis, his children and possible grandchildren if he re-signed with the team.
