Woman with dementia located after being reported missing Wednesday in DC, police say
D.C police say a non-verbal woman who suffers from dementia has been located after being reported missing on Wednesday in the District.
Authorities say 60-year-old Melanie Sabo was found Thursday morning. They provided no other details concerning Sabo's whereabouts while she was missing.
Police made the announcement on Twitter Thursday morning. FOX 5 learned that Sabo lives at the Sunrise Senior Living complex on 7th Street and Constitution Avenue in the Northwest. She had been reported missing after last being seen at the National Gallery of Art around noon Wednesday after she disappeared while on field trip with neighbors from her apartment complex.
