Woman charged in deadly triple car crash in Prince George's Co.
A woman has been arrested in a deadly crash that killed NFL player Khyree Jackson and two of his friends in Prince George's County last year.
PRINCE GEOREGE'S CO., Md. - A woman has been arrested in a deadly crash that killed an NFL player and two of his friends in Prince George's County last year.
What we know:
The suspect has been identified as Cori Imani Clingman. Clingman was charged with 13 counts, including manslaughter and driving under the influence, for her role in the July 2024 crash that killed 23-year-old Isaiah Hazel, 24-year-old Anthony Lytton, Jr., and 24-year-old Khyree Jackson — a fourth-round pick drafted to the the Minnesota Vikings earlier that year.
Prince George's County State's Attorney Aisha Braveboy announced the indictment Thursday, The tragic crash shook the Prince George's County community last summer. The three young men had all played football together at Wise High School.

"Everyone loved them. You know, I went to their vigil that was held at Wise High School and the stories that people told weren't just about stories on the field. They were stories about in the classrooms, in the hallways, in their churches, in their families. These were whole human beings who had a right to be here," Braveboy said. "We should be seeing Mr. Jackson in the NFL right now. The other two were also amazing athletes and amazing human beings so, it is sad."
The backstory:
Hazel, Lytton and Jackson were killed on July 6, 2024.
Maryland State troopers responded to the scene of the crash around 3:15 a.m. where they found the wreckage of the three-car crash on northbound Route 4/Pennsylvania Avenue near Presidential Parkway north of Dower House Road in Upper Marlboro.
The three vehicles involved in the crash were a silver Infinity Q50, a silver Chevrolet Impala and a maroon Dodge Charger.

According to police, the driver of the silver Infiniti, later identified as Cori Clingman, was traveling northbound on Route 4/Pennsylvania Avenue in Prince George’s County.
Police believe Clingman tried to change lanes while driving at a high rate of speed when she struck the Dodge Charger and then struck the Chevrolet Impala. The Charger subsequently traveled off of the right side of the roadway and struck multiple tree stumps where the vehicle came to rest.
Clingman had two other passengers in her Infinity at the time of the crash. No one was injured in her vehicle.
The Chevrolet Impala was occupied solely by the driver. He was also uninjured in the crash and refused medical treatment at the scene.
Hazel, Lytton and Jackson were in the Dodge Charger. Hazel was the driver. Jackson was the front seat passenger and Lytton was seated in the rear of the vehicle.
According to police, Hazel and Jackson were pronounced dead at the scene. Lytton was transported to the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
What we don't know:
Clingman remains in jail without bond. FOX 5 asked Braveboy if the parties involved knew each other and if they were coming from or going to the same place.
She says at this time, they cannot comment on that information as the investigation is ongoing.
