Watch Rosslyn's old Holiday Inn implode
ROSSLYN, Va. - The old Holiday Inn near the Key Bridge in Rosslyn has checked out.
Officials demolished the 1972 hotel Sunday morning.
They also posted video of the spectacular sight:
The 18-story hotel closed earlier this year.
It will make way for a large mixed-use development including a 25-story residential tower, 38-story hotel and adjoining conference center.
