Waiter at Reston restaurant gets 'tip bombed'
RESTON, Va. - A hard-working waiter in Virginia is benefitting from a random act of kindness this holiday season.
Richard Sibbett served a group of people at the Glory Days Grill restaurant in Reston, Virginia on Tuesday. But on this day, he was the target of a "tip bomb" by these customers.
This band of "Tip Bombers" have been dropping clumps of cash on unsuspecting servers for over a decade.
For Sibbett, they left him with a tip of over $1,600 on a $275 bill.
Sibbett said the money will be a big help for the holidays and that he will be able to buy a few more presents without stressing about covering the bill.
