Virginia teacher suspected of being drunk at school arrested: police

Authorities have arrested a teacher suspected of being drunk at his school in Virginia.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office says Travis Jones, a teacher at Park View High School in Sterling, was taken into custody Friday on campus.

Just before noon, an LCSO School Resource Officer was alerted that Jones was possibly under the influence. Jones was arrested and transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center in Leesburg. He was later released on his own recognizance.
