Virginia boy to mow White House lawn on Friday

An 11-year-old Virginia boy will be getting his chance to mow the lawn at the White House later this week.

Earlier this year, Frank Giaccio sent a letter to President Donald Trump offering to cut the grass at the White House for free. His letter was shared by White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders at a press briefing last month.

Sanders said she spoke to the president about Frank's offer and Trump invited the 11-year-old to spend a morning with the White House groundskeeper to mow the grass in the Rose Garden.

On Wednesday, Sanders told reporters that young Frank will get finally get the big opportunity to help out the grounds crew with the lawnmowing on Friday.
