VIDEO: Woman encounters 30 orca whales during kayaking trip

Video posted online shows an Atlanta woman's incredible brush with Mother Nature after a pod of orca whales surprised her and a guide as they paddled in a kayak. Michelle Feis was kayaking with a tour guide in the waters of the San Juan Islands in Washington State when she captured the amazing video.

She said her "thrill of a lifetime" came suddenly as they headed out of Roche Harbor towards Henry Island.

Michelle estimated that they were floating in the water above 30 whales were playing, jumping, and feasting on salmon. She even witnessed one whale breach completely out of the water.
