VIDEO: Soldier surprises mother; visits family for the 4th of July

GREENVILLE, S.C. - The family of a soldier has a little more to celebrate this 4th of July.

Jared Johns, who has been stationed in Germany and has also served in Afghanistan, was last home over a year ago.

According to FoxCarolina.com, Johns came home for an unexpected visit and surprised his mother and other family members while they were posing for a photo in Greenville, S.C.

Johns father shared the video on June 22 and said his son will head back overseas on July 5th.
