Video shows Northwest DC burglar creeping through home while victims sleep

WASHINGTON - A burglar suspect was caught on surveillance creeping through a Northwest D.C. home late Sunday night as the victims slept nearby, according to police.

Investigators said the burglar targeted the home in the 3200 block of Adams Mill Road, NW in Mt. Pleasant at about 12:30 a.m.

According to a police report, the suspect entered the home through a front window while the owners were sleeping.

The suspect is seen in the video looking in a closet and holding onto belongings.

According to the report, police say two laptop computers, an iPhone, an iPad, a bag, $150 cash, an ID and a credit card were all stolen from the home.
