Video shows man police say sexually assaulted woman in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON - Police have released surveillance video of a man they say sexually assaulted a woman in Northwest, D.C.

Officers say the assault happened on Sunday, July 22 around 10:49 p.m. in the 2400 block of I Street. They believe the suspect approached a female victim and sexually assaulted her while attempting to remove her clothing.

Investigators say the suspect is a white male, approximately 25-35 years old. He is 5-feet-10-inches tall and has brown hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 202-727-9099. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible.
