Truck carrying 40,000 pounds of Hershey bars crashes on I-270

GERMANTOWN, Md. -  Talk about a sticky situation.

A tractor-trailer carrying 40,000 pounds of Hershey chocolate bars crashed into a police cruiser Friday on I-270.

The crash near Germantown caused the cruiser to hit another police car, and the tractor-trailer flipped over.

The officers weren't hurt, but the truck driver went to the hospital with minor injuries.

It took HAZMAT units hours to clean up the mess.
