Tractor-trailer crash spills diesel fuel onto lanes of I-270
ROCKVILLE, Md. - A tractor-trailer crash early Tuesday morning caused traffic delays on Interstate 270 in Montgomery County.
The crash happened around 6 a.m. on the northbound lanes before the Montrose Road exit in Rockville.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson Pete Piringer said diesel fuel spilled into the lanes, causing traffic to be diverted.
Significant delays are expected throughout the morning. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined. No injuries have been reported.
