'That's a Wrap' offers wonderful food and even better service

Food is something that seems to always bring people together, and a new restaurant in Montgomery County is doing exactly that.

'That's A Wrap Deli' drew plenty of fanfare and applause on Wednesday during their grand opening celebration, not only because of the organic, healthy treats inside but because of the kindness of the owner to hire all types of workers.

The restaurant is a venture of Community Support Services, a Gaithersburg-based nonprofit that provides services and support to children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. That's a Wrap employs both individuals with developmental disabilities and those who are not disabled.

The concept of a specialty food deli business arose from over five years of experience through a Garden to Table program operated by CSS in its main facility, according to the company's website.

People love to eat and organic, fresh ingredients make simple recipes winners. That's a Wrap is a dynamic project that combines healthy food products people want with inclusive employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

Today, That's a Wrap employs 20 people behind the counter and in the kitchen.

That's a Wrap is located at 12158 Darnestown Road and is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can find more information at www.thatsawrapdeli.com.
