Teen wanted in Northwest DC double shooting that left 16-year-old dead

D.C. police have made one arrest and are searching for another murder suspect in a double shooting that killed a teenager and injured another man two weeks ago.

On Nov. 7, 16-year-old Yoselis Regino Barrios was found shot along with another man in a rear alley in the 1300 block of Rittenhouse Street in Northwest D.C.

Barrios was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The other victim was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say 20-year-old Kevin Sorto of Northwest D.C. was arrested on Wednesday and charged with first-degree murder while armed.

D.C. police are now searching for 17-year-old Victor Hernandez, who is also wanted on an arrest warrant for first-degree murder while armed. He is described as 5'5" tall and weighs around 165 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.
