T.I. gives away turkeys to Atlanta seniors
ATLANTA - A group of Atlanta's seniors now have their Thanksgiving dinner taken care of, thanks to rapper T.I.
The music artist hosted his 13th annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway for seniors in need Tuesday at the Adamsville Recreation Center in Atlanta.
He was joined by Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and several city leaders.
They served hundreds of turkeys and produce to all the pre-selected seniors.
T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, says he tries to regularly give back to people in his hometown.
The event was hosted under the umbrella of T.I.'s nonprofit organization Harris Community Works.
