Suspect sought after shooting in Reston

RESTON, Va. - Authorities in Fairfax County are searching for the person who shot a man late last night in Reston.

The shooting happened around 10:45 p.m. on Greywing Square. Police say the 42-year-old victim was walking in the area past a dumpster when he heard shots and then felt he had been shot.

The man remains hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say they believe the suspect is a black man who was wearing all black at the time of the shooting. they have no word on a motive at this time.
