Get ready for summerlike warmth Thursday as temperatures are expected to rise into the upper-80s, possibly reaching 90 degrees, after the morning fog clears away.

FOX 5's Mike Thomas says Thursday's highs could make it the warmest day of the year so far. Morning commuters will have to deal with heavy fog around the area which Thomas says could last past sunrise. A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued until 9 a.m.

Keep an eye out for possible thunderstorms later this afternoon and evening as temperatures rebound.
