Summerlike heat grips DC region Wednesday; evening thunderstorms likely

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Another day with temperatures in the 90s expected on Wednesday as a May heat wave takes hold of the D.C. region.

FOX 5's Mike Thomas says we can expect some mid-afternoon and early evening thunderstorms that could bring some severe weather with them. The D.C. region is under a slight risk for severe weather.

Another day in the 90s expected on Thursday with another round of thunderstorms expected tomorrow evening. Cooler temperatures in the 80s over the weekend.
