Severe weather rolling into DC, surrounding area

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - The DMV is bracing for severe thunderstorms - and the potential for worse weather - on Sunday afternoon.

By late afternoon, a severe thunderstorm warning had reach D.C. proper - along with the surrounding counties.

Earlier on Sunday, the FOX 5 weather office indicated that there could be a small chance of a tornado threat.
