A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for the District of Columbia and areas in Maryland and northern Virginia until midnight.

The Tornado Watch issued for the D.C. area has now been replaced by a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until midnight.
7:28 p.m.
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Baltimore County, Anne Arundel County, Harford County, Baltimore City and Howard County until 8:30 p.m.
7:12 p.m.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for the District of Columbia, Montgomery County, Fairfax County, Arlington County, Loudoun County, city of Fairfax and city of Falls Church until 8 p.m.
6:59 p.m.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for Fairfax, Prince William, Fauquier, Loudoun counties and the city of Fairfax in Virginia until 7:15 p.m.
6:54 p.m.
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Carroll, Baltimore, Frederick and Howard counties in Maryland until 7:45 p.m.
6:25 p.m.
Carroll County and Frederick County in Maryland are under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 7:15 p.m.
6:17 p.m.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued until 6:45 p.m. for Montgomery, Frederick and Washington counties in Maryland, Loudoun County in Virginia and Jefferson County in West Virginia.
5:51 p.m.
The National Weather Service has been issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Fauquier, Shenandoah, Warren, Frederick, Clarke and Hardy counties in Virginia until 6:30 p.m.
4:39 p.m.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect until 5:15 p.m. for Fairfax, Prince William, Fauquier counties in Virginia. The city of Manassas, city of Manassas Park and city of Fairfax are also part of the warning.
4:36 p.m.
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Frederick and Washington counties in Maryland until 5 p.m.
4:10 p.m.
The National Weather Service has extended a Tornado Watch that now includes the District of Columbia and surrounding counties in Maryland and Virginia.
4:06 p.m.
A Severe Thunderstorm is in effect until 4:45 p.m. for Fauquier County and Culpeper County in Virginia.
3:46 p.m.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for the city of Winchester, Frederick County and Clarke County in Virginia. The warning also includes Jefferson County and Berkeley County in West Virginia.
3:25 p.m.
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning in Culpeper, Page, Madison and Rappahannock counties until 4 p.m.
