Severe storms sweep through DC region

The D.C. region is recovering after a massive storm swept through the region on Wednesday.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. - Severe storms swept through the D.C. region – creating havoc in a number of neighborhoods.

Prince George’s County fire and emergency crews responded to a home in Fort Washington in the evening after felled trees collapsed onto a home.

In addition, in Manassas, SkyFox flew over a damaged neighborhood that included a tree creating a huge hole in the roof of a home.
