Several hurt in crash in Montgomery County near Georgetown Preparatory School campus
BETHESDA, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - At least seven people were injured after a crash in the Bethesda area of Montgomery County just outside of the entrance to the Georgetown Preparatory School campus.
The crash was reported around 9 a.m. along the 10900 block of Rockville Pike near Strathmore Avenue. All southbound lanes of Rockville Pike were closed following the crash.
Officials say the collision involved a landscaping truck with a trailer and several other vehicles. There is damage to a utility pole and traffic light at that intersection.
