Senator Ted Cruz accidentally punches, elbows wife in face following concession speech

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Senator Ted Cruz experienced quite the blunder after dropping his bid for the White House. Following his concession speech following the Indiana primary, the former candidate gave his wife, Heidi Cruz, a big hug.

But in the process, he added insult to injury, by accidentally punching and elbowing her in the face.

It didn't seem to faze her though as she exited the stage while Senator Cruz continued to thank supporters.

Meanwhile, GOP front-runner Donald Trump won big in the primary scoring 53 percent of the vote.
