Robot hotel employee makes room service deliveries

A Los Angeles hotel is attracting attention with a new robot employee that is able to make room service deliveries.

His name is Wally, is 3-feet tall, and is getting a lot of attention at the Residence Inn Marriott at LAX.

Wally is a robot on the go; constantly making room service deliveries.

Since he can't talk, Wally is programmed to make a phone call when he gets to the room.

General Manager Tom Beedon said they've had a spike in room service deliveries because people just want to check out Wally.

When a guest calls the front desk asking for some type of delivery, employees program Wally with the room number, floor and a message.
