Riggs street shooting
Early Saturday morning police say that they responded to the sound of gunshots in the 1300 block of Riggs Street, Northwest. When they arrived they found the victim, 33-year-old Charles Douglas of District Heights, Maryland, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
