Red Line train service resumes after suspicious package cleared at Forest Glen Metro station

Metro train service has resumed between the Silver Spring and Wheaton stations on the Red Line after police investigated a suspicious package at the Forest Glen station.

Metro Transit Police say officers and K-9 units have cleared the suspicious item that was left unattended on the platform and they have performed a secondary sweep of station.
