Prince George's County Court House evacuated after suspicious package found; deemed non-explosive

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. - The Prince George's County Court House in Upper Marlboro was evacuated Wednesday after police found a suspicious package nearby.

Children from a nearby daycare, as well as people in nearby businesses, were also evacuated from the area. Several roads were closed as a precaution.

Police say the package was deemed non-explosive. No injuries were reported. Police are still investigating the matter.
