Police say Woodbridge man choked woman, fled after she activated alarm

Prince William police are searching for a Woodbridge man who allegedly choked a woman in her home on Sunday, July 5.

Clayton Mack Holly, 42, allegedly entered the victim's home while she was sleeping and began choking her. The victim told police she was able to activate her home alarm system, which caused the alleged to flee the residence.

According to police, Holly returned a few moments later and began choking the victim again. They say he then took her phone and fled the area before police arrived on scene.

Holly is wanted for strangulation, grand larceny and preventing the summoning of law enforcement.
