Police say man posed as teen girl online to connect with youth hockey players

A Fairfax County man is facing criminal charges for having and sharing child porn.

27-year-old Timothy Bodenheimer is accused of online solicitation, and sharing child porn.

Police say he pretended to be a teenage girl on Instagram and Snapchat and would ask for pictures from boys who played youth hockey.

Some concerned parents alerted police about a suspicious person targeting their children and an undercover agent busted him.

Bodenheimer is being held without bond.
