Police release images of items stolen from murdered DC teen

Investigators are releasing images of three items they say were stolen from a DC teen who was shot and killed in Prince George's County in June.

Investigators say 17-year-old Bryan Alvarado-Esquivel shot and killed on June 18 at a park in the 5300 block of Varnum Street in Bladensburg, Maryland.

Officials say they are trying to locate a suspect, who they say stole several items from Bryan following the shooting, including a Gucci belt and a watch, as well as a necklace.

Bryan's father, Jose Alvarado, gave an emotional plea on Monday for help to find his son's killer.

"I miss my son you know--somebody killed my son so I need help to find the guy who killed my son," said Jose Alvarado.

Bryan was found by police in the park, suffering from gunshot wounds. They say he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

"He never come back you know, but he stays here in my heart for the rest of my life," said Jose Alvarado.

According to investigators, the suspect, who is described as an African American male, about 20-years-old, around 5-feet, 2-inches tall with shoulder-length dreadlocks or braids.

Officials say the suspect was seen running from the area wearing blue Air Jordan basketball-style tennis shoes. He was also wearing light blue jeans and a black tank top.

Detectives are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
