Police release composite sketch of suspect in robbery, sexual assault of 51-year-old woman

FAIRFAX Co., Va. - Police have released a composite sketch of the person they believe to be connected to the sexual assault and robbery of a 51-year-old woman in her home in Fairfax County.

The incident occurred early Saturday morning at 8400 Blankenship Road in Mount Vernon, Virginia. The victim's home was broken into by an unknown intruder who threatened to sexually assault her.

The suspect then assaulted the woman and fled on foot. He is described as a Hispanic male in his mid-twenties, approximately five-foot-three and wearing a black jacket and backpack.

Police used canines and a helicopter to search for the suspect on Saturday, but were unsuccessful. The victim said she did not know her assailant, but officers say he seemed familiar with the area.
