Police raid nets over 100 bags of synthetic marijuana 'Spice'

Officers executed a search and seizure warrant at a home on the 300 block of North Jonathan Street around 7:30 p.m.

Along with the synthetic marijuana, police say they found over $1,000 in cash.

Names of suspects have not been released at this time. Charges against them are pending.

Earlier this month, officers saw an increase in overdoses that were linked to 'Spice.' Victims, who experienced nausea, vomiting, difficulty breathing and unconsciousness, ranged from age 11 to age 50.

Investigators say the types of 'Spice' identified were 'Red Eye Jack' and 'Extreme Aroma Therapy.'
