Police investigate shooting in DC's Chinatown neighborhood

WASHINGTON - Police are investigating after a man was shot several times overnight in D.C.'s Chinatown.

The shooting happened around 2:40 a.m. in the 600 block of H Street, Northwest. Authorities closed a portion of the street during the investigation.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive.

At this time investigators have no word on suspects or motives.
