Police chase starts in Calvert County, ends in crash in Upper Marlboro

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Authorities are at the scene of a crash in Upper Marlboro after a reported police chase.

The Calvert County Sheriff's Office says the chase started in the north end of the county following a traffic violation on Rt. 260.

According to the sheriff's office, a female driver had been pulled over when she pulled off. Deputies pursued the woman before the chase ended in Prince George's County on Old Crain Highway and Mount Pleasant Road.

Deputies did a pit maneuver on the vehicle to stop the car and the car overturned, the sheriff's office says.

The female driver has minor injuries following the crash. No deputies were injured during the chase or crash.
