Police activity in northeast D.C. has closed has caused morning traffic delays.

WASHINGTON - Authorities say a barricade situation has closed streets in northeast D.C.

Police say they responded to the 1500 block of Harry Thomas Way around 6:30 a.m. for the report of two individuals inside a residence who may be armed.

Officers say Harry Thomas Way near Q Street is closed at this time.
