Police: 11-year-old shooting victim in Colesville murder-suicide has died
WASHINGTON - Police say the 11-year-old girl who was shot in a domestic-related murder-suicide in Montgomery County on Monday has died.
Investigators say Mina Kim, succumbed to her injuries at the hospital Thursday. They say the 22-year-old female who also survived the shooting, is in stable condition at the hospital.
Montgomery County police say they responded to the 100 block of Amberleigh Drive at about 12:05 a.m. Monday morning for the report of multiple people being shot.
Authorities said 57-year-old Yong Mun Kim and 48-year-old Sang Yeon Kim were found dead at the scene. The police department said one of the juvenile victims, identified as 10-year-old Andy Kim, died at the hospital.
According to police, they did not have any records of prior domestic violence calls made at the home.
