Polar vortex hits Midwest making it colder than Mount Everest, Antarctica and Siberia
CHICAGO (FOX 5 DC) - Bitter cold temperatures are gripping the Washington, D.C. area but it's nothing compared to what the Midwest is dealing with.
In Chicago, the wind chill is at negative 44 degrees and in Minneapolis the feel-like temperature is about 52 below.
According to CBS Chicago, the chilly air temperatures in the city will make it colder than parts of Mount Everest, Antarctica, and Siberia Wednesday!
The below-zero wind chills are expected to stay in those areas for several days.
