Plane crashes into backyard of Virginia home

A plane crashed into the backyard of a Virginia home Sunday morning.

Virginia State Police say around 9:10am, the single engine plane crash landed in the trees in the backyard of a house on Upper Mill Loop in Manassas, VA.

The plane did not hit the house.

The pilot was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
